The City Hall is now the centerpiece for the downtown’s area’s redevelopment, serving to reinforce the community’s identity. Located in Albertville, MN with a 17,000 square feet. The City Hall was conceived in a functional layout, expressing its interior use of space to the outside, with geometric forms, heights and a beautiful balance on its finish material skin application
To better serve the community
Albertville, a growing Twin Cities suburb, was anticipating total buildout in the near future. Having outgrown the existing 2,000-square-foot office space, the city chose Bonestroo to provide full professional design services for its new city hall.
Multifunctional community spaces
The two-story facility houses city offices and city chambers with additional conference and activity spaces. The council chambers are linked with a multifunctional community space and kitchen.
