Project Overview – Collaboration
My involvement on this high-rise residential tower was to support the coordination for the building design, with all the related engineering disciplines; and the detailing-execution for the core and shell. The Evanston Project is a 17-story multi-family apartment building located in Evanston Illinois with a 243,942 g.s.f; including parking and residential amenities.
A challenge site Project
The primary structure of the building is post-tensioned concrete with an exterior envelope of window wall system, insulated metal stud wall, ACM panel system, and masonry/brick veneer finish. Level 1 of the building consist of private parking, amenities serving the residential tenants, leasing offices, retail spaces and a non-commercial “display kitchen”.
